NURTURE, STRENGTHEN, AND PROTECT YOUR HAIR AND SKIN WITH GRAPESEED OIL

FEED YOUR SKIN AND HAIR WITH ALL NATURAL GRAPESEED OIL

Grapeseed oil is one of the most desirable ingredients in skin care. It feeds skin and hair with nourishing vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids. You will find this esthetician’s favorite in a wide range of natural beauty products. It’s used in moisturizers, lotions, soaps, toners, shampoos, and conditioners – and that’s just the beginning!

Grapeseed oil is safe for all skin types and delivers powerful nutrients. So go ahead! You have our permission to move that bottle of grapeseed oil from the kitchen to the bathroom. Now, let’s take a look at what makes it so appealing.

VITAMINS

Grapeseed oil is full of vitamin E. This vitamin works to build, protect, and correct. It assists in the production of collagen and improves skin tone. It helps to fight damage from free-radicals and prevent acne breakouts. Just make sure you’re using cold pressed grapeseed oil for vitamin E to be most potent. Harsh refining and solvent extraction processes can remove vitamin E from the grapeseed oil.

ANTIOXIDANTS

Grape seeds are abundant in Polyphenols and Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPCs) – the most powerful antioxidants found in nature! Polyphenols and OPCs complement the work of vitamins. They protect and detoxify skin from free radicals and clear clogged pores. OPCs repair collagen at a cellular level and stimulate circulation. They act as an anti-inflammatory and improve skin’s strength, firmness, and elasticity.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS

Grapeseed oil is rich in essential fatty acid, linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. Essential fatty acids are the building blocks of healthy cells. They hydrate, moisturize, and soften skin. Linoleic acid protects, strengthens, and heals cell membranes. This correcting and nourishing effect minimizes the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and scars. It restores tired and aging skin to a natural glow. Linoleic acid also assists in the delivery of vitamins and antioxidants.

Grapeseed oil is packed with healthy components. It detoxifies, protects, repairs, and rejuvenates holistically. Did we mention that it’s a favorite massage oil and after bath treatment? It’s all true. Grapeseed oil does wonders for your skin. So let’s get started feeding your skin with all natural plant-based goodness.

WHY GRAPESEED OIL IS BEST

Estheticians use grapeseed oil because it’s light and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling. Plus, it’s non-comedogenic (it doesn’t clog pores). Grapeseed oil is a favorite carrier oil. It complements the properties of other essential oils. It also mixes well with other natural oils (such as avocado, almond, and jojoba) as a base in skin and hair care products.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A GRAPESEED OIL

Your skin is your body’s largest and fastest growing organ. When choosing a grapeseed oil, quality and purity count. Processing methods that use heat or chemicals strip the oil of its health value. Be sure to choose 100% all natural, cold pressed oil.

HOW TO USE GRAPESEED OIL ON YOUR SKIN AND HAIR

Here are a few ways to incorporate grapeseed oil into your skin and hair routine. Always mix the grapeseed oil with equal parts water and blend to emulsify until it’s nice and creamy. This makes it lighter and easier to spread.

BODY

It’s safe to apply grapeseed oil directly to your skin – use it as moisturizer and massage oil. Try using it right after a shower and mix it directly onto wet skin for further hydration.

FACE

Place a few drops of grapeseed oil and water onto your hands and rub them together. Massage gently into your skin.

UNDER EYE

Apply a drop or two to your fingertip and dab around each eye. Focus on the under eye area to clear up dark circles and outer eye where wrinkles appear. Do this at bedtime when possible because pure oil can appear shiny on your skin.

HAIR & BEARD

Apply a small amount to the palm of your hand and rub together. Massage into your scalp gently. Grapeseed oil promotes healthy hair growth and acts as a natural dandruff treatment. It can also be diluted with distilled water and placed in a spray bottle to control hair in humid temperatures. Mix with a few drops of essential oils for a healthy beard conditioner. Or mix a small amount into your conditioner bottle for extra hydration.

REJUVENATING FACE SERUM

1 oz. Salute Santé! Grapeseed Oil
1 oz. water
2-4 drops of Essential Oil (Lavender, Clary Sage and Roman Chamomile are excellent for all skin types!)

Use a maximum of 4 drops of your favorite essential oil per ounce of grapeseed oil. (An ounce is 6 tsp.) Mix ingredients in a dark glass dropper bottle or blend by rolling gently in your hands until it emulsifies into a light lotion (You’ll notice the mixture thicken but it won’t turn white). After cleansing your face apply a drop of serum to forehead, cheeks, and chin. Massage in using small upward strokes.

*Remember that all skin and hair types are unique. Grapeseed oil is hypoallergenic, however, if you experience any redness or other reactions discontinue use immediately. Never use oil that smells rancid or has changed color.
