A FRUIT OIL from the mighty grape seed! Unlike seed oils which require new crop, lots of water and fertilizer, our oil comes from the grape, which is a fruit like olive and avocado, except our oil is 100% UPCYCLED from winery waste, an existing resource, and ZERO WASTE. Compared to other fruit oils like olive oil and avocado oil, ours is lowest in saturated fat and highest in essential linoleic acid.

Salute Santé! Cold Pressed Grapeseed Oil is an excellent source of vitamin E and antioxidants, while containing less saturated fat than olive and avocado oils. Its light and nutty, yet neutral flavor, has no greasy aftertaste and possesses the unique ability to enhance the flavors of ingredients instead of altering them.
Cold pressing ensures nutrients are preserved as the oil is extracted from the seeds at temperatures that are no higher than the temps in their natural environment. It also means that the oil has not been extracted through the use of toxic chemical solvents, like hexane, which is the chief reason that many “seed oils” have a reputation for being harmful to consume. You don’t have to avoid seed oils, you only have to avoid the ones that are processed with high-heat and chemicals, and are genetically modified (GMO).

Nor does it need new farmland, fertilizer or water, and most importantly our seeds are upcycled from a FRUIT - winery grapes - so our oil is pressed from the grape seeds – the source of life for the plant. Upcycled grapeseed oil is a sustainable, zero-waste oil that is extracted from the leftover seeds of grapes used in winemaking production. Salute Santé! repurposes these by-products from local wineries in Italy, Portugal and Napa Valley, reducing landfill waste and eliminating the need for extra land, water, or fertilizer to grow grapes solely for the seeds. Our process completes the cycle of the grape making us a zero waste food. Not to mention, we use 100% ecological packaging.
