Such a force in the Napa community, we had a special relationship with Chef Michael Chiarello.  From his Consorcio flavored olive oils that inspired our infused grapeseed oils (we had to show how much better infused grapeseed oils would be!) to the Napa Style store and catalog (we were so honored to be featured in both) to his selection of our Syrah Varietal EVCP Grapeseed Oil for his restaurants we were so proud of our connection to chef.
“The best artisanal food product I’ve seen in 25 years in the Napa Valley ” he said during a Napa Style gathering we attended showcasing our oils, he showed up unexpectedly and declared that to the audience. A small gesture from him, that encouraged us beyond measure.
Whether on his Strozzapreti Pasta at Bottega Restaurant in Yountville, or drizzled on the Gazpacho at Coqueta Restaurant in San Francisco, we were so proud to have him showcase our creation.
His generosity of spirit touched so many, especially us, and his talent will be greatly missed.
