Savory Cheddar Waffles

Try these savory chili and cheddar waffles - crisp, spicy and cheesy - now all that is 'oh so good'!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup Salute Santé! Grapeseed Flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp Salute Santé! Chili Grapeseed Oil
- Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Heat the waffle iron
- Whisk the flour, 1/4 cup grapeseed flour, milk, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sharp shredded cheddar cheese, 3 tbsp chili grapeseed oil until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter onto the waffle iron.
- Cook 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve with maple syrup and some shredded cheese on top.
Notes
Best to mix in a Kitchen Aid mixer for uniform smoothness.
